Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is great as it has been improvised to the new CBME Based pattern which makes every student competent and eligible. Every classes and topics of discussion are being taken on the basis of competency.

Class Size: 174Course Fees: INR 25300 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee for College for 1 year is Rs.25300 with a hostel rent of Rs 50. The students Union and other clubs and services provide financial assistance and scholarships which is needed for the ones.

Campus Life

Kottayam Medical college lacks a proper campus area but beyond that the clubs, arts sports and other extra curricular activity assistance that are provided are great and is of great help and fun to all the students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility Is great given the rent for accommodation just Rs.50 every room has 2-3 students with a maximum of 3 accommodated in every room and not beyond that. Every floor has got washrooms and basins.

Admission

Admission process was done on the basis of NEET 2022 conducted. Neet all India rank and kerala rank list was put forward out of which I got admission via second allotment in state quota. Neet exam was conducted on July 2022. I was not eligible for any reservation.

Even though a bit tight and rushy, this is in fact the best curriculum provided and followed by all medical colleges in kerala. The frequency of exam is high and difficulty level is as same as that of KUHS. This provides relevant experience for the students to weite the university exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

Great for academics

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a pretty hard one i must say but the feeling of putting on a white coat and looking after patients is surreal and that's the main essence of the job. The curriculum is very vast but each subject is important in its own way. The exams are all conducted in such a way that there's enough time for us to prepare .
