The transportation from my home to the college is quite tough because of weak transportation facilities

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is quite difficult and vast . I would like to suggest considering the syllabus and making it simpler so that the students can easily pass the btech coarse the exam is conducted sem wise And it is conducted once in every six months

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 9650 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees is 9650 Other fees for hostel and all are estimated as 300000 for complete coarse Currently I'm not pursuing any college job roles Our college isn't providing any stipend for any btech students

Campus Life

Tech fest are conducted once in every year The library is quite good and books are provided which helps our career Sports meet art fest and all are conducted every year IEEE gbot are some of the clubs present in our college

Admission

The eligibility of the coarse is qualifying plus 2 and passing keam entrance exam 50% of the seats are reserved The exam is quite moderate and everyone can easily qualify for the entrance exam It is conducted once in every year

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
