Likes

I really like how active our student council is regarding arranging all types of events
I like the campus life of gargi. It's beautiful
I like the placement cell of the college as they are very active

Dislikes

Infrastructure is beautiful from outside and very big but there needs to be improvement from inside
Faculty members take lot of leaves which leads to cancellation of class
Boys are not allowed in fest and brought artist in daylight

Course Curriculum Overview

I was from commerce background so I opt fot bcom honours. The teachers are good and friendly. Most of the classes does happen between 10.30 to 2.30. Sometimes classes get cancelled so thats where they can improve

There are various companies that contact the college placement cell for internship opportunity for various roles like marketing, hr, content writing. Waiting for the internship fest in the college. Pehshaan was one of the company

Placement Experience

Gargi provides good placement opportunities. The highest package was 19lakhs. Placement cell is very active. They provide internship opportunity every single day. Hopefully I will get placed too after my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is 15000 for this course. You can avail for scholarship if you belong from low class family. Otherwise as a women college the fee is actually low than others. Yes campus employments are available.

Campus Life

I must say gargi is best for festival celebration. They had the best annual fest ever, diwali fest, navratri fest and there are many events always organised in this college. You will definitely enjoy your college life here

Admission

For admission in Gargi College, you need to give cuet exam. My score was 732 as general but it will go as low as 560 if you belong to ST. You can also opt for ECA which will also help you to get into this college with low cuet score.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

Great place to earn knowledge!!

Hindu College was certainly the dream place and score too was enough to get admission there. However, my parents sent me to Delhi with a condition that I can apply only in Ladies college.
