Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is quite tougher and vast . It provides unwanted and extra information which make the subjects tougher to study . I suggest to recheck it and make the necessary changes . Exams are conducted once in every six months

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 9650 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fees for the course is 9650 . Total estimated overall course fees is 300000 something including hostel fees travel fees and all. Currently I'm not in any college responsibility or college job role

Campus Life

Tech fest is conducted once in every year . The library is active and quite number of books are available there it helps us to cover the syllabus on time . IEEE gbot are some of the clubs present in our college

Admission

The eligibility of the course is passing grade plus two and qualifying keam entrance exam . 50% of the seats are reserved The entrance exam is conducted once in every year . I suggest the admission process being little bit faster

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
