Likes

There is no curfew in the ladies hostel.
Smart class rooms are avilable .Lecture halls are renovated recently.
Library facilities are available in the college campus.

Dislikes

There is no ongoing research programmes
Hostel food is very bad.We have to spend money for good food.

Our curriculum is cbme which was recently introduced by the National Medical Council of India. It is a competency-based medical education that aims at improving clinical skills at an early period of mbbs. we have university exams yearly.

Class Size: 175Course Fees: INR 25500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

As my college is a government medical college we have to pay 25000, 5 times during the course. In addition, those students at the hostel have to pay the hostel rent of about 600 per year, establishment fees and mess fees .egrants and MCM scholarships are available for some students.

Campus Life

We have various clubs like music, dance, literature, fine arts, and theatrics which are functioning actively. They conduct cultural programs on a regular basis. Girls' hostels have no curfew here. Overall, college is good. The books are there in the college library.

Admission

I qualified NEET UG 2020 with an all-India rank of about 5000. I got admission through state quota in the second allotment .3 allotments are available under state quota and all of india provides 2 allotments

Even though a bit tight and rushy, this is in fact the best curriculum provided and followed by all medical colleges in kerala. The frequency of exam is high and difficulty level is as same as that of KUHS. This provides relevant experience for the students to weite the university exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

Great for academics

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a pretty hard one i must say but the feeling of putting on a white coat and looking after patients is surreal and that's the main essence of the job. The curriculum is very vast but each subject is important in its own way. The exams are all conducted in such a way that there's enough time for us to prepare .
