Course Curriculum Overview
We are having CBME curriculum in which the skills needed for continuing this profession are given more stress . AETCOM modules are conducted in all the years and which help us to improve our interaction with the patients and also provide basic ethical knowledge regarding this profession and all.Exams are stressful time and semester wise exam is much more beneficial than that of yearly exam as we can reduce the tension regarding such huge topics . This will also improve the knowledge level of students
Internships Opportunities
Our college itself is providing internship with stipend for 1 year . The internship will be provided in most of the department in which we have to perform our duty and skills . We will also be send to the peripheries for working in subcentre and all
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year we have to pay 25k except in the fourth year where we need to pay twice the year. This fees is including lab and library and van fees as well.several scholarship are available for the students both private and government which will make the life little easier .after passing the final year we need to do one year internship in the college for which we will get stipend amount approx 25k every month . During the house surgeoncy period we will be working in the hospital.
Campus Life
Several celebrations will be held in the college by the union which won the election like onam , Holi , iftar , Christmas etc... Then interbatch arts , sports fest will be held every year following which students will be selected for the central zone and interzone . Literary fest will also be conducted under the club . Medex was held last year (2023) which was a nice experience to us as well as to the common man . several palliative works and medical camps have been conducted in the college. NSS is also there . Library facilities are there both for reference and for studying.
Admission
The admission into mbbs course is through the neet exam and now the selection is getting tougher as the number of students appearing for the exam is on the rise. The application form will be available online months before the exam and the data correction date will be also provided later . Biology part of the exam plays a big role in determining the rank and if we are thorough with the ncert , physics and chemistry is also not like the jee type.we need to be consistent throughout the preparation process, motivating ourselves and practicing as much mock tests as possible. The newer medical colleges coming should also have adequate teaching facilities and should be of good infrastructure.
