Remarks

Eligibility : PCB passing 12th. The medical entrance examination is the National Eligibility Entrance Test/NEET which is held once a year offering admission to medical colleges throughout the country. It is a highly competitive exam with considerable difficulty.

Course Curriculum Overview

The couse is relevant though it is getting saturated. It is a demanding course with a vast syllabus. Being in a government college provides you a firsthand experience on how it is like to encounter and work in a professional healthcare setup.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is around Rs 25000 per year for 4.5 years. It can range from Rs 25000 to Rs 30000 per year depending on the year. At the end of 4.5 years, a year of internship takes place which offers a stipend of around 25k per month.

Even though a bit tight and rushy, this is in fact the best curriculum provided and followed by all medical colleges in kerala. The frequency of exam is high and difficulty level is as same as that of KUHS. This provides relevant experience for the students to weite the university exams

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's always relevant to the content being taught by the teachers. They always use application based questions to prepare us for a real life situation as well. First aid training was also completed. Some of the teachers are very interactive while some not. Short exams are conducted on a weekly basis while internal exams are conducted every 2/3 months. Not that difficult but it isn't that easy either. Very strict checking, nothing is liberal.

Great for academics

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a pretty hard one i must say but the feeling of putting on a white coat and looking after patients is surreal and that's the main essence of the job. The curriculum is very vast but each subject is important in its own way. The exams are all conducted in such a way that there's enough time for us to prepare .
