- Theres not much about DISLIKING here, its just some things are just slightly less than what tou want from a college but it is fine, i personally didnt dislike anything as such.
- 1 thing, there isnt much scope of placement here, you cant rely on college for it. You have tk work on your skills and grab good placement(mostly offcampus)
Course Curriculum Overview
IT is chilled branch here though it wont matter much. Other than this, it's better than taking in this college rather than going to any other tier 3 private college at this rank. Campus is a bit smaller than expected but you get everything needed.. Teacher are okayish I would say, you will get some very good and few too bad..
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees here are around 1,14,000 per year excluding semester exam fees(2980)/sem, hostel and mess. For 1st yr, 40000 first payment during coucelling and 74000 2nd before 2nd sem. Scholarships available for many categories like single girl child, ews, pwd, single parent child....etc. Fees are fine considering its govt. College that too Panjab university. There aren't too good on campus placements, but students did crack off campus placements in 7 digits..
Campus Life
Campus is little bit smaller but is beautiful and peaceful. Seniors are very friendly and helpful. We have annual sports fest, law fest called Aquietas and tech fest Anant. Other than this we have events on days like teachers day etc. We have couple of clubs and societies here for communication proficiency (vaarta), technical society and drama club (shor) that are active.. We have a football ground, volleyball court, basketball court, badminton court and some lawns over here where students together play daily. It also have 2 libraries, one in law dept. And other in uiet/dcsa dept.
Admission
Admissions are don't here only through jac chandigarh (for B.E / B.Tech) I.e with jee mains score. Average cutoffs are: 80k-110k CSE 110k-145k IT 145k-190k ECE 190k-250 or 300k Mech. I would suggest to take admission only in CSE or it Dont go below these branches here, there isn't much scope of placement here in core branches especially.
