Course Curriculum Overview
CBME curriculum followed by KUHS is an innovative one. Exposure to the various fields of the course is given More hours for practicals can be added. Number of log books for entering the daily activities should be reduced, it's just financial consuming,otherwise there is no use of that. Number of subjects in the final year is more than an average student could manage,it could be distributed in the early years. Old exam pattern was better than the new one.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is provided by the studying college itself which is compulsory to get the degree . Internship is very important in gaining knowledge to attend the patients and to apply the knowledge that has been studied till then.
Fees and Financial Aid
Complete cost of education for 5 years will be about 3,00000 including tuition fees,hostel fees,mess dee,books. Scholarship is mainly provided by government but neither the central government nor the state government is providing any aid for our batch . Internship is provided with a stipend of?27000.
Campus Life
Fully functional clubs are run by students for music, reading, film ,sports, etc.. Fully equipped library and other laboratory are also available. Sports meets and arts competition are organised by students themselves which put a financial restraint on these activities. Various political organization are also present which enable all the students to sound their problems.
Hostel Facilities
Good hostel facilities are given. Cot ,cupboards, fan and light are provided. Food is of adjustable quality. Meat or fish is given everyday. Hostel fees are affordable. Hostel registration is through the respective college. Hostel is within walking distance of the college.
Admission
Admission process was done through an open window system on the basis of NEET UG -Entrance examination.Choices are given on the basis of rank scored in NEET exam. Reservation should be based on financial status and not on caste system. Admission process is completely online ,so sometimes a single mistake can mess up the whole registration process,a more meticulous registration system could be provided.
