Course Curriculum Overview
The course has been modified to competency based medical education since 2019.This enables us to understand the concept on practical as well as theoritical aspects. Rather than answering questions it is based more on skill development
Fees and Financial Aid
We pay an amount of twenty five thousand at the beginning of every academic year. Various scholarships are available for students like egrants,msm and other miscellaneous scholarships.After final year exams we do internship in different departments in college as well as outside in healthcare centres
Campus Life
The college union conducts annual interbatcg arts festival, sports meet and literary events. The College actively participates in kuhs zonal arts and sports meets which then move on to state wise intercollege events.
Hostel Facilities
College provides 2 hostels for women and one for men to accomodate approximately thousand two hundred students. Seperate hostels are provided for interns and post graduate students. They provide fairly adequate facilities for accomodation as well as transport for day to day commute for classes
Admission
The admission was through the NEET entrance exams and was allotted through State kota to GMC kottayam. I was first allotted to GMC thrissur and then to Kottayam through second allotment. Multiple documents had to be submitted.
