- The college is far from any towns thus lack of entertainment outside the college.
- Food taste varies some people like some don't.
- Train route is very busy hard to get tickets.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is based on the CBME medical curriculum by the national medical council. The main highlights of the curriculum is the specific competencies which has to be attained at each level and exams to pass. The curriculum prepares you for the real world stuff that's going to happen. The exam pattern consists of 3 internal exams and a university exam at the end of each year.
Fees and Financial Aid
As my institution is a government institution the fee is under the government it is pretty affordable and not subjected to frequent hikes. Employment options are vast in this field and the name of the college will give you an additional boost in front of potential employers.
Campus Life
The best among my state hands down. The Union frequently conducts and organises arts and sports fest along with the university. The campus provides an excellent environment to nurture ones extracurricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
The men's hostel is fairly congested and suffers from poor maintenance and lack of infrastructure. However a new men's hostel construction is in the papers. The ladies hostel is spacious and clean. Overall the hostels are good considering the money.
Admission
The admission process was fairly straightforward it was quick ,just giving your documents and allotment letter. I took admission under the obc category The admission process was under the NEET exam And the KEAM process under the Kerala state government.
