Entrance Preview
1. I wanted to learn in pune University. 2. My score was 91, so for this score i found this is better colleges than other. 3. Location also good and near to Pune city. 4. I loved weather when i was visited at the first time. 5. At that Time i heared from senior that placement is centralized for all sinhgad colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
1. There are total 8 semesters in bachelor of engineering. 2. In each semester there are 4-5 subjects and some of them have practicals and viva also. 3. You have to pass min 3 subjects to get in next semester. If not then you will consider as year down (YD).
Internships Opportunities
College didn't provide any internships and all. You have search by your own. Stipend depends on which company is going to provide internships.
Placement Experience
True sinario, No core placement for mechanical engineer But you can expect it jobs. In my batch about 1-2 students placed in tech Mahindra. In it sector about 15-20 students out of 440 only mechanical engineers. I think you should drop 1 year prepare jee well and go iit or nit or any gov. College then it will be worth of doing engineering.
College Events
Most of the events and festivals were celebrate here.likes 1. Ganes festival 2. Shivaji jayanti. 3. navaratri. 4. Independence day. 5. Engineers day. Etc. But most of them celebrate this events by collecting money from students only. This is the worse part of it.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college fee during my college days are as follows: 1. Sc, st -7000-10000rs only 2. Nt, OBC- 50000-60000rs if your income is under 6 lacks 3. Open - around 100000 if your income is greater than 1lacks If not then you will get freeship scholarships around half.
Fees and Financial Aid
College didn't offer any scholarships but University does. If your family income less than 1 lack then you are eligible for freeship scholarships.
Campus Life
College campus is best in our pune region. There are almost all sports ground available in our campus. Campus life is the best. A lot of fun with friends. If you are interested in any extra curricular activities then this campus is best for it. Most of events organize here only.
Hostel Facilities
College campus is awesome, You can't find this atmosphere anywhere. Here are facilities are available like WiFi, free medical facility, library 24/7 day, all sports playground and many more... Here you can learn any games free like table tennis, football cricket basketball and proper coach are available. mess food is good.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes. Of course they'll help you . If you get strut at anything just ask help to senior students they always help you.
Exam Structure
Every year exam pattern is change. In our time in semester each subjects have 30marks insem exam and 70 marks endsem exam Insem exam will be happened within 2 months from starting of semester. And endsem exam at the end. And some of subjects have oral and practicals also.
Admission
1. Give entrance exam like MHT-CET OR JEE. 2. Score more than 90 marks in MHT-CET or score more than 65 marks in JEE. 3. Then their will be Centralized Admission Process (CAP) rounds for admissions. You have to fill you college preferences on thier website. 4. Then according to the merit score. You will get college. 5. Like this there are 3 rounds. And theis is spot rounds also available.
Faculty
Some Teachers are good but most of them not upto the mark, they are worst you can't called as a teacher... For first year curriculum is very strict, if you not attending the lectures they called your parents or sometime they wisited your hostel room and bring you forcefully to the lectures. But 2nd year onwords no one interfare you.
