How is life in GMRIT

Our curriculum is designed in such a way to bring out the efficient talent from the students. We will have events that include both technical and non technical events. These events participation will definitely bring out the talent in the student. The curriculum is included with these events also. Our curriculum includes the portion completion time and examination time also. The frequency of exams in our college is for every 2 to 3 months.

Our college provides two internships for every student. One is summer interrnship and another one is full semester internship. Every student must complete these two internships. These internships include credits also. Our college provides internships in major cities like hyderabad, guntur, vizag.

The placements in our college is good. As our college is GMR it is a huge industry in our country. All the talented core department students will be settled in these companies. Our college also supports the student who are planning for Mtech Or preparing for GATE exam also. My plan is I want to do MTECH by cracking GATE exam

Our college is eligible to scholarships provided by the government. The students who will have high attendance and secure more score in the academic year will be awarded with amount of 10,000 rupees. This brings a lot of encouragenent to our students. Our college is eligible for the students with government proposed scholarship students. The fee for students who joined college with a rank is 66,000 rupees. The scholarships will be allocetd to the students who are elegible from central government also. Our college also provides the internship opportunities which included stipend.

Our college have a huge number of clubs which are handled by the students only. These clubs are intitiated only for self development of the students. There are so many clubs that include NCC, NSS, MUSIC CLUB, PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB, FILM CLUB, DANCE CLUB, SINGING CLUB, SPORTS CLUB, and so many. These clubs are used efficiently by our students.

Our hostel is a bit managable task in our college. Our hostel is having all the required amenities that include 24 hours hot water, 24 hour always available wifi, 24 hours power with generator. The only problem we face is the food in the mess. The food is average and sometimes it is more than worse and not at all managable also. The hostels are separate for the seperate academic years. The hostel fee is 99,000 for two semesters one academic year. These hostels are located inside the college only.

I have completed my intermediate in Visakhapatnam. And after completing my plus 2 course I decided to become an engineer in computer field. I have prepared for eamcet it is called as EAPCET in our times in 2021.At that time it was difficult to attend for exam as it is covid time. The eligibility for writing eapcet exam is completiny plus 2 without any backlog. I attempted my eapcet exam successfully and secured a rank of 11,500 in Andhra Pradesh. Then I started searching for best colleges for securing my graduation certificate. Then I got to know about our college GMRIT. Then I proceeded to select the colleges in eapcet website. Then I got computer science seat in GMR Institute Of Technology. The thing I want to suggest the area for improvement in the admission process is the students must do some level of study in sorting out the best colleges.
