Remarks

The eligibility if this course is you have to qualify 12th with 75 percentage score in subjects like physics, chemistry,and mathematics.They you have to write kerala entrance exam named KEAM and have to score also good score in it.I have reservation benefits of OBC.I have done all the admission process through akshaya center and then KTU will check the qualifications.

I have interest in subjects like physics, chemistry and mathematics,so that i liked future studies in engineering.I got admission in electronics and communication engineering in the college.The curriculum here prepares me more for real world applications and for futher academic pursuits by doing lab works ect.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 9659 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In our college we have a fee structure of 9650 for a year. I think this fee is essential for the studies here. The complete cost of my education is about 3 lacs including hostel fees and exam fees.We have scholarships like e grantz and i got about 27 thousand per annum.

Campus Life

In our college we have many annual activities like tech fest,arts day, sports day, and many cultural activities and many religious programs like holi, Christmas,onam etc are held here.The sports and extra curricular activities here are very active.

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?
