Course Curriculum Overview
So far the curriculum is better but it requires more practical way rather than theoretical manner. Many faculty are trying their best to reach every student but they lack in experience. For teaching methods they can add practical components more with greater understanding.
Placement Experience
Previously GMRIT is known for its placements but due to recession and gradual increase in unemployment the placement rate has completely degraded so to overcome this the college is trying to employ the students in its own companies. Many of them are opting for higher studies and some are trying off campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is similar to other colleges. It's nearly 80000 including all the amenities fees like building funds etc. The students who joined through eamcet can get a financial support of 66000 from the govt of Andhra Pradesh but if your are not eligible for the reimbursement then you can apply for any other education loans.
Campus Life
We have the best experience in the campus life with complete greenary and cleanliness. It's the mark of the college. We have almost 15 clubs and 10 professional bodies which helps us engaging in social life. We also have NSS and NCC clubs. We have access to the digital library with every requirements. GMRIT's only fest is stepcone which happens in the starting months of an year. We also have annual sports day to encourage the players.
Admission
I have joined through my eamcet rank. To get into this particular course for a general female student it requires below 12000 rank. Otherwise you can choose the other options like payment seats and spot seats where you have to pay atleast 1-2 lakhs per year on an average. For better admission process try to communicate with the admin department regularly.
