Likes

The faculty are great. Some of them are quite good. Learning is Fun with them
The campus and social life is amazing....
Students can get a lot of opportunities. There are various events from every fields.

Dislikes

The timings are a bit harsh. Almost more than half of day is used up by clg
According to the money I feel that amenities lack a bit
The course structure can also be better.

Course Curriculum Overview

The exams are not much difficult. There was no motivation for admission due to curriculum I find it quite regular but being an autonomous clg I chose that one.. The timings are not great I mean duration can be reduced. 2 lec and a practical is enough I think

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 325000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Again there is not much info about that. But the companies which I have seen are Infosys,TCS,Amazon, Google,some startups. The average CTC is 7lkh. This year's max placement is 51 lakh by an mtech student in Google

Placement Experience

To be honest I don't have much info about placement. 6 months internship is needed foru course Clg gives leave for 2 months after every year 4th year can be used for internship Clg also provides internship and one can also apply frm outside

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship will be provided in fy according to ur result scores. After that the course toppers will be awarded some concession in fees later. I don't have much info about clg placement and internship but according to the advertisement this year an mtech cse student got into Google with 51 lpa package

Campus Life

The best thing about mit is campus life I think. There are many clubs and events Every week there is some event and there is many opportunities for students to have fun.. The library is very good now after the renewal. There is much more seating place and many useful books

Admission

Admission is through cet,jee and also through clg exam. After the result u need to fill the online form and select desired course. The result of form according to those year application cut off is decided and your result is mailed to u for admission

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

College review for better selection for better opportunities in future

Placement Experience:

From 4th Year students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visites my college campus are accenture, capgemini, tcs and many more . The highest package students get places are 12-14 Lakhs per annum and average pakage is around 4-5 lakhs per annum . The percentage of students get places is around 60-80% and majority of them are from CE and IT . Many of them try to get placed from off campus due to their desired companies they want to join or they want more packages

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

Best in the neighborhood, convenient to reach , easily accessible for all the student's , good faculty and good quality of education, amenities available are great along with the essential facilities. Exposure to national level competitions along with the motivation to attempt them.Practical knowledge is also provided with the theoretical knowledge

So called MITWPU-Pune

i had applied for ahemdabad university as well. I got admission there as well but i was waiting for confirmation of admission from this college. I chose this college over AU just because this one was located in Pune-the IT hub, and they had made pretty good name all these years. But the name and fame they earned was when the college was under government. Currently it's fully private and the management is very bad. I didnt apply to any other colleges. MIT-WPU is world class!!

MIT has its own evaluation test and also 12th marks minimum of 60% in PCM for general category is just. For SC/ST and OBC is 50% and also get respite in entrance scores and fees as well.
