BGSBU honest review

College is not good for excellent student..average student like me who dont have any choice can come ????

My AIEEE score was pretty much bad...CET score was good, I got admission in miet n also in kashmir university bt i had completed all the admission formalities at dis college at d time of CET result..so dere was no other option available..better opt for any other institution

To be honest this college is not satisfying the needs of students. It has fewer facilities and also it offers only few bachelor's courses as in CSE, CE, ITE, EE, E&C. It has not proper transport system as it is 7km away from the city..Placement is not also good

Very fewer companies visits, And some low-level companies visits. But they all place a good quantity students. The stipend is less...hardly any good company visit d campus..if u want a good job don't come here.

Placement is very much less in number, we can say negligible...n also good companies like HCl, TCS,l&t don't visit dere so overall is very much poor...the companies which visit will offer u 3-4lakh max salary..students have to go to other colleges for off-campus placement

Fresher's Party, Farewell Party, Tech fest and some small sports event are celebrated in the college. I have enjoyed the fullest of life during these events. There was a number of activities in which one can participate.inter-department matches in football cricket are also held every year

Well, the fee structure is exactly between govt and private college. For Btech fee is almost 50k per semester..so fee structure is not feasible nor too much expensive...but dere are also many more expenses, if u staying in hostel, pocket money etc so overall whole expenses are expensive

Moma scholarship is available for the minority students n also scholarships for ST/SC are available...don't know abt loan facility

Respect is given to all religions. The campus is RURAL so not too much fun. Here students of all regions of JAMMU AND KASHMIR like Kashmir, Ladakh, Jammu, kathua, Poonch, Rajouri, Baderwa all are studying friendly. Dere are also extracurricular activities also...inter department matches are held every year n students of bgsbu also participate in inter-university sports festival

Mess food is okay..u get both vegetarians, as well as nonveg. every week chicken is served to students on Wednesday and Sunday...overall mess facilities is good. The hostel for boys and girls are very apart hostel is well maintained, neat and clean, and security is nice the fee is normal

College seniors are helpful and they are guiding juniors in every respect. Ragging cases inside and outside the campus of baba Ghulam shah are negligible.

Exams are conducted 3times per semester in which two are d sessionals (internals) n other one major (external) apart frm labs..lab test are conducted by d externals...exam pattern is quite tough...n paper checking is very much strict n dere is hardly any chance of copying

I got admission in d institute via entrance exam conducted by d university itself..dere are three centers one at srinagar another at rajouri and the third one at jammu..i got admssion in btech computer sciences..my rank wasnt dat much gud...every1 prefers civil

Permanent faculty is well qualified, efficient n pretty excellent.they are highly qualified .. their qualification is Ph.D., mtech..also lab asst are also very good..the contractual faculty are not well experienced..dere is all BTech graduates n they are not dat much responsible.
