Course Curriculum Overview
My course is about Human interaction and gaming , till now not much relevant to that has happened but may be more relevant content will be taught in next year's as I'm only in 1st year . For computer programming, it is good . It can keep some courses as optionals from the first year so students can choose what they want to study . Exam difficulty depends on students hardwork , not too hard and not too easy .
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee feels more than the quality the college provides in courses and it's infrastructure. If you take admission in iiit nagpur in 2023 for a btech course. Your total fee for 4 years of college will be around ?12-14 lakhs (Rupees). College does not provide any scholarships from itself, it can only facilidate your scholarship from center or state governments.
Campus Life
There many events but two are big events here in IIIT NAGPUR - TANTRAFISTA (TECHNICAL FEST) AND ABHIVYAKTI (CULTURAL FEST). TANTRAFISTA disappointed me. Abhivyakti was fine . Campus Life depends on your friends. Campus itself is not very good . There are only three major buildings now - hostel , academic building and admin building. THERE IS A LIBRARY BUT IT IS TOO SMALL AND THERE ARE VERY NON ACADEMIC BOOKS (NOVELS ETC.).
Admission
Admission into this college (IIIT NAGPUR) is based on your jee main scores . Cuttoff varies for different categories and courses . Cuttoff for a general candidate now is around 96 percentile. The IIIT NAGPUR website is very in this case . The application form is too big and a bit confusing. AFTER FILLING THE ONLINE FORM YOU HAVE TO VISIT THE CAMPUS IN PERSON TO CONFIRM YOUR ADMISSION , THIS PROCESS WAS SMOOTH AND WAS DONE IN 30 - 60 MIN. Application form , application fees and important dates can be found on IIIT NAGPUR website. Exams here happen frequently within every one month and a gap of one and half month for the end semester exams .
