Course Curriculum Overview
The course is new and is extremely beneficaial as it is based on robotics. The curriculum is great which provides us hands on training which makes us job ready. In case of improvement they can provide more practical subjects. Exams are conducted thrice a semester and can be easily aced by proper preparation
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from 7 th sem onwards. Total 50 companies visted our campus fir placements including TCS, Ingosys, Goldman Sachs etc. The highest package was 90 lakhs but the name of the company was not disclosed by the Institute and average pacakge is around 15 lakh. Around 90percent students get placed in our college. I want to join MNC after completeling my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is comparatively higher as compared to other gov colleges but they don't increase it often. After I graduate I would have spend 16 lakhs on my education including travelling cost. Scholarships are not provided by the college but state sponsered scholarships are present. I am a first year student so I haven't taken any campus employment program.
Campus Life
Campus is very small so there is not much thing you can do.. Anually three fest are organised by the college The Cultural fest :Abhivyakti held in March the Tech Fest:Tantrafiesta held in October and Sports fest :Kshitij held in January. Library is present in college but the amount of books is realatively less . Classrooms and Labs are extremely well designed with ACs. There is a single ground in the campus so sports facilities are not upto mark. Out college has an NGO called pahal which teaches poor children.
Admission
You are eligible in the course if you qualify jee mains. The application form for the Jee Mains can be found on the official website and application form and admission can be found on the official website of iiit nagpur. Being a SC candidate I got admitted to the course with low perctile. Jee mains is held twice a year. Admission process is smooth but I would suggest that they provide more time for it.
Interview Experience
No Group discussion was taken before admmission the only criteria is Jee mains.. For admission you have to score a certain percentile in jee mains after that you have to physically attend the college for admission.
