Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is quite hard and vast . It's tougher to study and pass. I suggest the higher authority to recheck the syllabus and make the necessary changes. The exams are conducted sem wise Which comes once in every six months

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 9650 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees is 9650 and the overall estimated cost for the course is around 300000 fir 4 complete years. Currently I'm not getting any financial aid. Currently I am not undertaken any college responsibility .

Campus Life

Tech fest is conducted once in every year . The college library is quite good And quite numbers of books . Sports meet is conducted once in every year. Art fest is also conducted once in every year IEEE is one of the clubs present in our college

Admission

The eligibility of the course is passing plus 2 and qualifying keam entrance exam . 50 percentage of the seats are reserved for minority groups . Applications form of the entrance exam can be found on cee.gov.in site

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
