Course Curriculum Overview
The courses are quite relevant to the main stream tech. One of the only institutes where we have a dedicated course on web development for first year. And there are branch specific courses from first year itself. The professors are all PhD but a lot of them are annoying. The exams are taken in 3 phases here rather than the standard 2 phase ones in each semester. There is sessional 1 sessional 2 and end sem exam.
Placement Experience
The placements are decent. But being first year it is quite difficult to know the real stats. But it the highest package last year was 90 lpa by GMS. There are hopes for improvement from further years.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is finely defined on the website of the college but it's arround 13-15 lacs for 4 years including everything. There are various state scholarships available and based on category as well.
Campus Life
The sports facilities are below average currently but it is said that they will build a new sports complex soon. Connectivity is decent but now very good. Major problem is with hostel as there is only one hostel and there is huge competition to get it.
Admission
You have to apply through jee. It is an institution of national importance. A fairly new institute but developing now. It has a permanent campus though outside the main city. The courses are fair enough but the learning environment is good. All the reservation except the state and girl quota don't apply here.
