IIIT Nagpur at a glance

The course curriculum at IIIT Nagpur is commendably relevant and comprensive. It adeptly integrates industry-relevant topics, ensuring graduates are equipped with skills that meet contemporary job market demands.

There is 6 months internship compulsory in our college, which tends to many internship offers by college and by student's individual efforts, in different roles. There are many companies which offers internships in our college, some of them are : Toplyne, Groww etc.

Campus placement is good in our college, But as layoffs are going on in corporates, Placements are affected all over the World, so that is the area of concern, but Normally our college does good in placements, which has 14 Lakhs avg package and 90 Lakhs highest package last year.

Fee Structure including 4 Lakh for Hostel & 9.4 Lakh as Academic Fees, a total of 13.4 Lakh. And coming to the Scholarships, there are many scholarships that are funded by individual states from where the student is belonging. But as of my experience NSP (National Scholarship Portal) is the best Scholarhip for the student who dont have any scholarship schemes in their respective home states. I got 2.267 Lakh as Scholarship for the first year, out of 3.7 Lakh which costed me as total fee for first year.

Campus Life is decent as Campus is operational but not 100% complete, It'll be completed in various phases, till now only 10-20% of Campus is completed which is enough for its functionality. Infrastucture is not completed yet so the provided infrastructure is really good.

Hostel Facility is good, but it's on first come basis. Arount 50% of the first year students are living outside the campus due to the limited seats in Hostel. Hostel fees is around 4 Lakhs for whole B Tech.

Admission to IIIT Nagpur hinged on JEE Mains Ranks via JOSSA Counselling accessible just after the release of JEE Advanced Results. The asmission cuttoff ranged from 20-25K Ranks in JEE Mains for acceptance into the CSE Core Department for General Category.
