The college has top facilities, but more buildings are needed to improve infrastructure. Otherwise, everything else is well-managed. Many companies, such as Flipkart, TCS, Wipro, etc., offer internship opportunities to students. Our college has taken part in various projects, such as Green India, Clean India, and many more. Many of my seniors received PPOs during their internships in the company.

At NR College, after completing the 3rd year, you can apply for the placement process. Many companies, such as TCS and Wipro, visit the college and offer opportunities to many students. The highest package offered is around 50-52 lakhs, while the average package is about 17-18 lakhs. Approximately 90%-95% of students get placed in companies during the placement process. After completing my degree, I will apply for an M.Tech degree.

The tuition fees have increased compared to previous years, but only slightly. The institute fees, including all expenses, are ₹247,000. However, hostel fees need to be paid separately. There are many scholarship programs for students from different states, as well as a National Scholarship Program for all Indian students whose family income is less than ₹6 lakhs. Many students benefit from these programs, including receiving a stipend.

Abhivyakti will take place on February 29 and March 1, 2024, while Tentrafiesta 2023 was conducted in October and November. We all enjoyed both festivals a lot. In our library, all B.Tech books are available along with various journals. We have AC classrooms and expert faculty to teach us. Our college also offers opportunities for inter-IIIT competitions and various other game competitions. There are approximately 5–6 clubs, some of which include the Orator Club, IoT Club, Estoria Club, and many more.

In the hostel, we have two types of rooms: one is a 2-seater, and the other is a 4-seater. Every candidate gets a separate cupboard, along with a chair, table, and bed. The food quality in the hostel is very good, as expected, and follows the hostel menu, which changes every month. You can apply for the hostel either online or physically on campus. However, hostel rooms are limited, so you need to book your room quickly. Near the college, there is a place called Butibori, where many students rent rooms for themselves to stay and study.

To get admission to this college, you first need to appear for the JEE Mains entrance exam. If your percentile is above 96.5, you can secure admission through CSAB counseling. For OBC category, the last admitted student had a percentile close to 95. JEE Mains is conducted twice a year, with a gap of 1.5 to 2 months between the two sessions. You need to study well to score high in JEE Mains, as a good percentile increases your chances of getting admission through JoSAA or CSAB counseling.
