Welcome to honest review of IIITN

In our college cirriculum, subjects are relevant to the branch, there is no mechanical, chemical subjects or experiments that other colleges have such as IITs also have mechanical, chemistry which is not required as a computer science engineer. Only one subject that I hate in first semester is EEE(Elements of Electrical Engineering) that should be removed form cirriculum but according to faculty it should be there as this is appear in GATE exam.

Highest internship --> 65,000/month offered by Zeotap in 2022 Average internship --> 20,000/month I have to no idea about the projects and outcomes. Honestly speaking, on campus internships are very less, you have to apply by own for internships.

Placements are good till last year but this year is because of decline in hiring by IT company in the whole world. Infact IITs also has not good placements this year. But I hope problem will resolve within one or two years. Various companies have visited our college such as NVIDIA, Infosys, IBM, TCS, Wipro, Commvault, JIO, Adobe, and many more. Till now google has not eneterd in our college but I hope soon it will visit. Highest package-> 90 LPA Average package-> 14 LPA Around 88.7% students got placed in our college. I have not such plans after getting degree.

Fees is increasing every year for new admissions, around 15 lakhs for our batch and 14 lakhs for the previous year for the whole course(4 year), hostel fees is included in this. State/National scholarship is provided which you have to check on the website. Placements are good last year average package was 14 LPA and highest is 90 LPA, but this year placements are not so good because there is a decline in IT industry all over the world infact IIT Bombay has not placed 36% of their students in any company this year.

There are two fests in our college and one college gathering. One is Tech fest (known as Tantra fest), generally held in october and the other is cultural fest (known as Abhivyakti), generally held in end of feb or start of march. But dates may change according to the admistration orders. For cirriculum, all subject books are available in the library, other self help books also available in the library. Honestly speaking, library is not that much large but yes books are available that you neeeded. All classrooms are equipped with AC, 3 ACs in each classroom. Campus area of college is 100Acres, but grounds are not proper for cricket, valley ball, basket ball and football. There is proper court for badmintion, table tennis. Other games like carrom, chess, etc are also there. Inter IIIT and intra IIIT is conducted every year in thte college where different team competes. There are a lots of club in our college, orator club(speaking_skills), GDSC(google), strokes(arts), Ecell(entrepreneur)

If you are a general category then your percentile should be at least greater than 97.5 to take admission in lower branch, I am a OBC candidate so I got this college in 96 percentile in CSAB round. Admission through JEE Mains. In our college, exams are conducted almost in every month (3 in total) two exams are sessional 1(15 marks), sessional 2(15 marks)and the last is end sem exam. Exams are moderate and sometimes easy, in sessional exams, atleast one question is of tough category. I think, frequency of exams is good.
