Likes
- Good Coding Culture in the campus. There are also some contests conducted in the campus by the student groups
- Friendly Environment with faculty and friends. Making memories in the hostel
- Student Clubs are really good. There are many advantages in joining the clubs.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is average. As the campus is built few years ago.
- Less Greenery in the Campus. Plantations are going on in few areas.
- Hostel Vacancies are very less and seats are alloted based on first cum first basis
Course Curriculum Overview
This curriculum provides real-life applications. Here are exam division is divided into three types. There'll be two sessionals. each sessional consists of 5-6 subject exams. exam will be for one hour. And the end sem for 3 hours.
Internships Opportunities
There are also internships offered in the college. But it provides the respective company internships through student college mail IDs. It also provides some free-of-cost courses in various tech fields through mail. Companies are Microsoft, Nvidia, Goldman Sachs,TCS and more.
Placement Experience
Placements are going average till now as there is a recession in the market. The highest Package is around 86lpa. The average and median of CSE is 13.76lpa and 12.00lpa. The average and median of ECE is 13.15lpa and 11.00lpa. CSE with 82% placements and ECE with 75% placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
There'll be (One time, refundable) hostel and mess caution money in the mess fees. we didn't get any refund back till now(it's been eight months). Complete fees will be around 14-15 lakhs in four years.There are also scholarships provided in the college itself.
Campus Life
Campus Life is boring, with less infrastructure. Sports and Fests are very less. There are good clubs like GDSC, Dot Slash, and a few noticeable clubs. There is a small room for the Library providing sufficient books for student courses. Extracurricular activities are very less. Student-run groups are present in the campus.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Maintenance is really good. Regular Cleaning is done. Meal Quality is average and taste too. Hostel fees is slightly expensive. But the negative thing about the hostel is their limited seats policy. There is First-cum-first policy for hostel seats.
Admission
Admission Process has gone Well. The only thing I didn't like is the hostel statement saying that there are limited vacancies in the hostel. I've waited for 3-3.5 hours to get my hostel seat confirmed. Eligibility is possible through JEE MAINS. Application-related forms are provided on the IIIT Nagpur website itself. The level of examinations is good enough to bring the talent out of us. Good attention in class and practicing regularly will get us good scores in the exams.
