Likes

Bus service is ok for to go Nagpur for weekends holiday.
Events at IIIT Nagpur give you some time for jolly mood.
Stay at academic building gives you AC accomodation for study uptill 10 pm

Dislikes

Mess food is worse than anything in the college.
There is no proper playground, hostel building for freshers to live.
Placement opportunities is very low and has been depricted from 2022 batch and is still going down.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is too tough to study as compared to others colleges like NIT's and IIT's . Structure of the curriculum is average , but you need to refer all the topics from YouTube only to study better and score better. Sessional 1 , Sessional 2, End Sem these 3 exams will happen in every semester , so it will be hetic shedule for beginners.

Internships Opportunities

Internship offering in the college is going down year by year. 3rd year students are trying for the off campus placement and still there are waiting for the off campus placement. Projects should be out of the box to come out of these competition that is the only solution to crack the placements.

Placement Experience

From 6th sem onwards students are eligible for campus placement. But your chances of getting on campus is very low . The batch 2023-2024 is not getting single on campus internship offer till now. About 25% got uptill now on campus internship outoff 250 students . My plan is to go for mostly off campus placement opportunities otherwise GATE is the solution

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is too high as compared to it's quality and schedule compared to other colleges including some private colleges that is far better than it. Scholarship and Financial Aids will be provided so need to take care of it.

Campus Life

TantraFiesta (Technical )and Abhivyakti (Cultural)are the two fiest in IIIT Nagpur. Books are too much less as compared to no of students opting the books. Journals we hear once in a Semester uptill now. Facilities in classroom is on average rating. Old version of projectors are still going

Hostel Facilities

Contact Shashikant Bhogle sir (Number is given on IIIT site) for Room accomodation. Meal quality is too much poor. Roti's are very bad and food is not cooked properly. Menu items names is fancy but food quality is very much low.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

I have been eligible for Computer Science and Engineering branch for IIIT Nagpur under OBC category. After getting selected by applying in the rounds. You have to go to the IIIT Nagpur site and there you would find application form , fees structure and application dates

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

College review for better selection for better opportunities in future

Placement Experience:

From 4th Year students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visites my college campus are accenture, capgemini, tcs and many more . The highest package students get places are 12-14 Lakhs per annum and average pakage is around 4-5 lakhs per annum . The percentage of students get places is around 60-80% and majority of them are from CE and IT . Many of them try to get placed from off campus due to their desired companies they want to join or they want more packages

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

Best in the neighborhood, convenient to reach , easily accessible for all the student's , good faculty and good quality of education, amenities available are great along with the essential facilities. My views about IIIT-Nagpur

I majorly selected this collage and VNIT(metalurgy course ) as a backup, i got ther ECE-Iot in last CSAB round . VNIT have lots of better featurs like grounds , Events which a a lot better than iiitN. i kept the ECE-Iot above VNIT metalurgy thats why i got it , and i didnt fill any other things which i could have got.
