The faculty members, they've all done PhD
The hostel is new so the rooms are in good condition
There's a permanent campus unlike other iiits

Dislikes

Low budget of fests. The college is only focused on academics
The problems with water supply of hostel.
The campus has only 4 buildings.no sports facilities

I'm in semester 2, the subjects are DS, DE, application programming, communication skills, Mechanics and graphics, mttde. There's 3 theory exams - sessional 1, sessional 2, end semester exams. Theory has 70% weightage of overall. Lab has 30%

I'm only a first year student I don't know about it very well. You can check college website for more information. I will try to get a great internship first then decide if I want to go for higher studies or job.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about hikes. They provide a comprehensive breakdown of fees in their website every year. Tution fees of one semester is 123500. Several states provide scholarship, nation govt too on basis of caste, gender.

Campus Life

There's 4 cultural clubs and a lot of technical clubs. I'm in the drama club Estoria. There's 2 big fests, tantrafiesta (technical) and abhivyakti (cultural). Sports activities is dead. There's only one super low budget fest called kshitij

Hostel Facilities

There's one hostel with 10 floors. It's new so it looks good. But mess food is super bad. There's option of 4 seater and 2 seater alloted on first come first serve basis by hostel fees payment. there's problems with water supply

Admission

It is on rank/percentile basis by JEE Mains. My rank was around 23500, the cutoff was higher. I got in CSE branch. There's 4 cs related branches and 2 branches of ece. CSE core, CSD, HCIGT, AIML, ECE, ECI

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

There are placements in the college, but the company select only few like from hundreds they select only 9 to 10 students which are capable enough according to the standard who have done internships and have some experience in their field as the companies don't want to teach them from the starting

College review for better selection for better opportunities in future

Placement Experience:

From 4th Year students are eligible for campus placements. The companies that visites my college campus are accenture, capgemini, tcs and many more . The highest package students get places are 12-14 Lakhs per annum and average pakage is around 4-5 lakhs per annum . The percentage of students get places is around 60-80% and majority of them are from CE and IT . Many of them try to get placed from off campus due to their desired companies they want to join or they want more packages

SAKEC- best college ever

Placement Experience:

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. I'm sure being a student of such prestigious college with help me alot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

It is a great college for learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm choosing this course because I'm interested in programming languages. Faculty members here are at the best level. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. They made lectures most interactive. All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.

Best in the neighborhood, convenient to reach , easily accessible for all the student's , good faculty and good quality of education, amenities available are great along with the essential facilities. Exposure to national level competitions along with the motivation to attempt them.Practical knowledge is also provided with the theoretical knowledge

My views about IIIT-Nagpur

I majorly selected this collage and VNIT(metalurgy course ) as a backup, i got ther ECE-Iot in last CSAB round . VNIT have lots of better featurs like grounds , Events which a a lot better than iiitN. i kept the ECE-Iot above VNIT metalurgy thats why i got it , and i didnt fill any other things which i could have got. Admision process is smooth , all the people there are helpful , we need to go to offline admision with all the docs....Read More
