IIITN for your reason -Choose wisely first!

The curriculum is a little harder as some of the main cse subjects like DS and C programming are taught in the 1 year itself. There's a subject called communication skills to develop soft skills which make you placement ready.

Internships are kept mandatory for college students so the college itself provides internship opportunities at the campus itself, although it requires a good cgpa and many students also get internships in. 2 year also depending on the skill and intrests.

This year at IIIT Nagpur, in the campus placements the average salary offered was about 14 LPA and the highest package offered was about 90 lpa but it was in a HFT role company and was an off campus placement.

The total fee of the academic+ hostel would be around 15 laks out of which if you apply for a scholarship on NSP (national scholarship portal) you would get an amount of Rs2,30,000 in the 1 year,other state scholarship might also include here.

The campus life over here is not at all good as , although you are provided an abondoned land of 100 acres but still the campus is in growing phase , and there are only 3 buildings in the college.There is Tantrafiesta (technical fest) , Abhivyakti (cultural fest), Kshitij (sports fest).

Hostel rooms were allotted before the time of csab rounds completion, and about 200/636 guys didn't even got a hostel room, and we are allotted a private hostel , although the life at private hostel is too good . Meal quality is good .

Yes as other government colleges for entering this college you have to give the JEE Mains exam , and after clearing the cutoff barrier of nearly 97+ %ile you could get into this college with any course for the CSE department the percentile cutoff may be a high one of above 98percentile.
