IIIT Nagpur : A good to go college

The course is excellently designed by subject experts of each domain. The course curriculum highlights the importance of practical learning rather than mugging up textbooks. There are 3 exams in a semester, 2 sessional exams and one end semester exam. The grading is based on CGPA system with relative marking in effect.

There are numerous companies coming every year for internships and they provide it to those who are eligible. Companies like Amazon and Google go for computer science branches with Intel and Nvidia choosing ECE.

IIIT Nagpur's dedicated placement cell works tirelessly to secure lucrative job opportunities for its graduates, with leading companies actively seeking out talent from the institute. Even though it is a new Institute, it's placement records have cemented it's name among the top IIITs of the country with highest package touching upto 89 LPA and the average being 14 LPA.

The academic fee for even semesters is different from that of odd semesters though the difference is insignificant with the average fee per semester being around 2,26,000( only academic). The hostel fee is different for even and odd semesters as well. There is a proper scholarship department in the college which entertains all the scholarship related matters and is very active. Students can avail all central government and state government scholarship if eligible.

The overall campus life is serene and fun with numerous clubs which boost interest of students in their respective domains. These clubs organise events throughout the year which keep students engaged. There is a cultural fest Abhivyakti, tech fest TantraFiesta and annual Institute gathering Kshitij organised each year.

The process was simple. The admission was solely based on JEE MAINS score. The cutoff was >95 percentile for ECE Core branch. The admission processes in the college went smooth without any major delay.
