There are parks to chill out in the evening

There are very less trees in soe. So it is so hot there
There are not enough space in University hostel to accomodate students

This course is rele6in foreign countries. This is a core subject to study and has scope in allmost all the fields. I would suggest that it would be better if a computer subject was also added with it.The exams are designed in such a way to increase your calibre

Internships Opportunities

The students can do internship in different companies. The principal will give a request letter to the company asking to allow the students to do internship in that particular company. Internships are compulsory for students.

Placement Experience

The placements are very good. An average salary of 5 lakh is offered and the highest salary offered in this course was 20 lakh. Different companies come here for placements. Almost 70 percentage of students are placed from this course

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is different based on the reservation. For general category it will be 58000 for one year. The placements are good. Average salary offered is 500000. College provides internship too. It will help to train you.

Campus Life

The college life is awesome if you involve in it. There are many clubs here in cusat. The students of different clubs go for competition representing the club and the college. There are clubs concentrating on different fields

Admission

The eligibility for the course is +2 certificate. Application form, application fees and application details will be published in cusat website. Details of the reservation benefits will be available in a brochure. There will be two internal exams for 1 semester.8 such semester is there. 2 hrs will be providing for internal exams and 3 hrs will be provided for semester exams.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

I have only applied to CUSAT, we i was not able to get admission there i would choose to work in a company. It was just a try from my side, but it actually worked out. For MTech, GATE qualifiers can direclty get the admission without any other exams. They can also avail monthly stipent of around Rs 10000. Other exam for admission is DAT exam which is conducted by the respective department of the course. I have taken the DAT exam under the Department of Statistics , where this MTech Data Science and Analytics is present. The eligibility includes BTech or MSc. Cutoff is majorly based on the number of students writing the exams and the number of seats. So cutoffs can vary. Students are selected based on the DAT ranklist. Spot admission is conducted for the remaining seats. There is also a least chance for students who didnt write the DAT Exam can also get the admission at the 2nd or 3rd spot admissions....Read More
