Politics plays a very vital role in this college and the government in power in the state has a very large impact on the University, this would have been an IIEST, but wasn't made ever due to this only.

This is a prestigious college as I had heard through some of my faculties,relatives and seniors.So after not getting An IIT or NIT I decided to take admission here.Luckily my rank was too good to have my admission in this college.I attended the councelling & got a seat finally.

I had heard that engineering students do nothing in their college,they simply ram here and there and study at only last night before exam.I thought that the engineering course are so easy and underestimate the curriculum and studied last night,I got supplies.It changed my mode of study.

Yes,It provided.I remember,Last year maximum classmates of my class room completed their internship in COCHI METRO provided by The college.

As my college is one of the prestigious engineering institute of the country,It is very easy to get placed if the student belongs to Non core stream but core stream students face some challenges during getting placement but here Some core stream students also get placement better than even some NITs.

Dhishna-College annual fest which is conducted every year in which many contest are arranged to reward the students based on their performance. Vipanchika- Vipanchika is the annual college fest conducted by the School of Engineering, CUSAT, Kochi. Vipanchika blends a series of fine-arts, socio-cultural and literary events, along with a variety of workshops, exhibitions and informal events. The fest attracts thousands of visitors to the campus annually, and is one of the biggest cultural fests in India. This three day long annual festival held towards the end of January every year, is a student-run non-profit organization which caters primarily to the youth. Vipanchika has attracted major sponsors and extensive media coverage over the years. The team of Vipanchika consists of student volunteers who work to promote creativity and intellectualism, and it symbolizes a place to be together and celebrate.

For keralites - very feasible ,very economical (around ?2000 per person)for each semester they pay. If the student is SC/ST keralites then they pay only some hundreds per semester. For Non keralites-its very expensive as NIT and IIT.WE pay ?45000 per semester.See how much difference!

I have filled the scholarship form which was notified on the NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL only.And submitted the copy of the application form in the college.I am waiting for the scholarship to be provided yet.

I don't think better campus life than CUSAT in other colleges except Some Nit and IIT .The main campus is 1.5 km off the National Highway 47 in South Kalamassery. The 180-acre (0.73 km2) campus consists of the Administrative office, the Central Library, Computer Centre, departments, labs, workshops, School of Engineering (SOE Campus) and School of Engineering (Siberia Campus), canteens, guest house, hostels and playgrounds. The Administrative office coordinates all the activities of the departments and affiliated colleges. The fully computerised Central Library is a central source of information for the academic community of the CUSAT. The Computer Center provides free internet access to the students. The campus hosts the buildings of the departments. The SOE campus has divisions of engineering and corresponding labs and workshops. The Siberia campus block consists of classrooms for engineering courses and a new lab building (NLB) which houses department centres and labs. The campus has a Triveni Coffee House and other canteens. There are three men's hostels — Siberia, Sarovar and Sanathana — and five women's hostels — Aishwarya, Anashwara,Athulya,Anaga and Ananya. A new B. Tech hostel has been set up. The campus hosts the accommodation of its employees.

Hostel facilities are present in college but for that there is some criteria on which you will get hostel they are on your Cusat cat rank and the distance of your home from college is also an essential criterion.Hostel fee and very low 500 per month.The room which is alloted are sharable in one room two students should be there and the second partner will given by college you can't choose your roommate. Mess food are good in quality all types of food are there both for North Indian students as well as for south India students.

Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT)is one of the leading institutions in the engineering field.seniors help their juniors in very respective manner.

During exam preparation we have to really focus on main theme of the syllabus provided by the college.Usually the question paper consists of two types of questions i.e. short answer type questions (10 questions each of 2 marks) and long answer type questions (4 questions each of 10 marks).

I appeared for the entrance exam of the btech degree course of CUSAT Named "CUSAT CAT".I got selected in the merit list.The very tough work after the exam was to attend the councelling seminar conducted by the UNIVERSITY but finally got admission here.

I think faculties are not subject to assess,In reverse students are subject to assess by faculties. But I will give the answer of your question. All faculties are really better ,laborious ,and hard working.They make the subject so easy and interesting to study further by own.
