Course Curriculum Overview
I am a CSE core student and I have found the syllabus relevant to the field and career . they start from basics and make it tonthe advance . Follow the curriculum properly and you will make up new skills along which are required in future.The faculties are highly quilified and help students understand the concept at their best . There are 3 exams happening in each semester. 'Sessional -1','sessional -2','Endsem' are the exams hapening.the frequncy of the exams is 1-1.5 month.
Internships Opportunities
Students in the final year have compulsion for Internship for six months . students get intership opportunity in many companies across India . Some students have got internships at Amzon , etc . students start working on projects from the third year itself.
Placement Experience
The college has decent placements according to the date of Establishment . Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year itself . Many companies visit IIIT Nagpur and new companies are attracted towards the college. Companies like TCS ,Reliance JIO ,L&T Infotech.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees of IIIT is high as it is a Public-Private Partnership project . The Yearly Expense for the Academic fees is around 2,50,000 and the hostel goes around 1,08,000 for four-sharing and around 1,23,000 for two sharing . Government Scholarships are available for students according to their domicile state and caste.
Campus Life
There are majorly 3 Events/Fests the college organize . They are 'TantraFiesta' - The technical fest if IIIT Nagpur which is held somewhere around September .the next is 'Abhivyakti' -The cultural fest of IIIT Nagpur which is held in February . Next is 'Kshitij' - The annual sports event of IIIT Nagpur which is held in January . The campus of the college is 'Under Construction' state . Currently the campus has its own permanent campus with 4 Building being Constructed 'Academic block' , 'Administrative Bloack' , 'Residential Block ' , 'Hostel Block'.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel is good as it is constructed around 2020 . The hostel provides facilities such as Laundry (paid) , Doctor , Councellor. The facilities you get are light , fan , geyser for hot water for bath , cupboard , bed ,Cupboard .The bathroom , Washroom are cleaned Daily .The hostel can accompany around 1400 students but still it is insufficient for students and students who are not alloted any hostel have to stay at a PG which has tie-up with the college. The PG has it's own transportation facility .
Admission
the admission process is quiet simple. You have to appear in JEE MAINS and have to secure a good percentile in it(for open category).Then should apply to appear in JOSAA counceling or CSAB councelling and choose the priority list of the courses as you wish . After every round of JOSAA or CSAB councelling , they allot you a seat if it is available as per your AIR and you get admitted to the institute. then you have to Submit all your documents online . then check the official website of the college and check for the dates of Physical reporting . then report at the institute according to the dates alog with all your original documents and oe xerox set of it.the admission process is simple and easy . you will not face any challenge to do it. the exams conducted are medium level and if you concentratre in your class , you can make good CGPA .
