Course Curriculum Overview

It gives practical and analytical knowledge . It provides employability and potential for higher studies. There will be two exams per year, semester wise. The exams are not so difficult but many students get supplies.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We need to pay a sum of 10000 rupees during admission. No extra fees is Remmitted from students. Many scholarships are provided like e-grants etc. Many placements are provided in college since it is a reputed college.

Campus Life

Dyuthi is the biggest technical fest happening in our college. A big library building is there in the college with lots of books of educational and entertainment type. There are three main ground in the campus for different sports.

Admission

We need to get a high rank in keam entrance exam to get admission. We will get benefit of reservation during admission and in the rank list. There will be only one exam per year during April or may. Admission process is so tiring.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is lakhs relevance to modern industry demands. while it covers the basics there is minimum focus on practical skills emerging technologies and real world applications overall, the courses not comprehensive enough.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

College and faculties promote and provide chances for Industrial visit in industries all over India. The faculties of our college are well experienced and with better qualifications. Prof Rajesh Menon of the mechanical department is a gold medalist from IIT MADRAS.

Remarks:

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
