Bus facility is not available in most common directions
Drinking water availablity is not there, filters are not cleaned properly
Behaviour of security is not that good and should be taken into consideration

Course Curriculum Overview

Learning and applying it on field application made me choose this course That should be improved a lot more that on facing the real world needs Job oriented method of teaching can be included in it Knowledge and internship oppurtunities can be provided Internal exams are moderate and gives us enough time University exams are a bit more tougher

Impulse Annual fest mainly during even semester last Tech fest for showcasing technical talents usually held during february month Auto show held during February month Annual sports day held during january month Ifthar meet during Ramadan month A wide variety books of different authors are available That can be improved It is good Yes NSS and IEEE

Admission

Eligibility is 50%marks in 12th standard(mandatory) A keam pass mark should be attained for the management seat For NRI seat 50 mark in the 12th board exam For Government seats keam marks will be considered Application details can be found on the college site We will be having 2 series of exams 1)after completing 2.5 modules(Moderate level) 2)after completing 2.5 modules(") Total 5modules. Then university exam which will be a tougher one Giving reservations should be done in an eligible manner

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
