Get good freedom for every students and good climate
Good freinds are..locals are good there is no problem with them
College campus is good and there is no mono politics here

Dislikes

College are in a top hill walking in the early morning and afternoon is difficult
College placement are low and core comanpys ate comes to the college is very very low
College ground is small..difficult to play football and cricket

The course is good and its very relavant for the future..there is an unwanted subjects are in the syllabus..thts must be avoided by the university and add some placement opperturnity subjects..its very good for our future enhancement

The students become eligible for campus placement is the 7th sem..few of the core comapnys are come to the colleges and i t campanys are more than 10..highest average salarys are 7.5 LPA..and average are 3.6 LPA..students get placement are very low

I have get egrands scholarship..so i get refund on every applying feeses..thats are the tution fees must be refund..other charges are the bus fees..its an every year we pay the 800 rupess and some fees are the college arts fees

Campus Life

Evey year we conducted tech fest.there is lots of books are available for the students curriculum activities..the classrooms have smart tvs are available..there is well sports facilities and gyms are available

Hostel Facilities

I have last year studied in college hostel..it is very clean and nice.There is a clean staffs for cleaning every day morning..The foods are gest is the affordable price so quality of food is average.the registration process are starting every first month off odd sem begins.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is one is after plustwo and write the kerala Engineering entrance exam and the other one is after finsinshing the polytechnic and write lateral entry course.i am lateral entry student..i am write the leateral entry exam and got 1200 rank.Then i applied to the each and every colleges and got the college.The examas are based on the sem system..each and every sem last they are conducted the university exam.after finishing the exam then new sem is starting

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?
