Cusat Provides An Healthy Campus Life Which we can enjoy our btech lyf
All the faculty members at CUSAT are highly qualified and knowledgeable with good teaching quality.
The campus is sprawling over an area of 180 acres. The facilities include labs, workshops, Triveni Coffee House, canteens, etc.

Dislikes

College concept of political parties and that is one of the bad thing with college iss known for
Timetable of exams are in tough schedule

I love to deal with electrical and electroncs component thats why i choose this course. Cusat has a well devolped and latest curriculum. The timing of the exams date will be official website. Teaching staff sir so experienced and have good degrees

Major IT company which are ready to or willing to give inter ships and stipend for students in cusat. Current i am a first year student and i didnt have more relevant information about this topic and didnt participate in any internship programmes

From 6th semester onwards students get eligible for campus placment, CUSAT offers great placement opportunities to engineering and management students. The university has strong industry connections with companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, EY, PWC, Cisco.highest is 25lpa and avg in 7lpa.More than 600 students get placed at the CUSAT placement every year with great opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are two semester in each year in each year we need to pay an amount of 24000. There are seven kind of scholarships that are provided by the Kerala State Government but all the college of the based on the reservation or the caste. If we are SC ST cast then we don't need to pay any kind of fees in college. Major scholarships are egrants, sc/st scholarships

Cusat provides you a very good Campus life Officially college technical fest is dhishna. But last time when this time happens there took some unpredictable event that took life of 3 students which have been a huge news in kerala. All kind of Journal books are available in cusat library. Cusat gives so much importance in their sports fest all kind of sports activities are done in collges

Hostel Facilities

Currently I am Not in main collge hostel,if need to to get in main hostel then should have reservation like sc/st/oec, otherways its good to took private hostels near cusat. The food provided in each hostel is good. Registeration process for college hostel are done through cusat hostel portal. Olive homes is one the good rented room service in cusat.

Hostel Fee: INR 4200 per year

Admission

Good Mornging Guys, So The Eligibility of the courses are we need to pass + 2 with 60% of marks in phy,chem and maths. We can find the application form application fees and application dates in www.cusat.ac.in,i didnt have any reservation purely entered through merit. Usually the exams are medium tough if you are studying for JEE aspataranch then you can crack it easily.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

I have only applied to CUSAT, we i was not able to get admission there i would choose to work in a company. It was just a try from my side, but it actually worked out. For MTech, GATE qualifiers can direclty get the admission without any other exams. They can also avail monthly stipent of around Rs 10000. Other exam for admission is DAT exam which is conducted by the respective department of the course. I have taken the DAT exam under the Department of Statistics , where this MTech Data Science and Analytics is present. The eligibility includes BTech or MSc. Cutoff is majorly based on the number of students writing the exams and the number of seats. So cutoffs can vary. Students are selected based on the DAT ranklist. Spot admission is conducted for the remaining seats. There is also a least chance for students who didnt write the DAT Exam can also get the admission at the 2nd or 3rd spot admissions....Read More
