Good faculties. Their love, assistance and help are really awesome.
Neat and clean environment.Classrooms, washrooms, floors, canteen all are cleaned well.
College Library and department library are good

Dislikes

I think the college tuition fees and bus fees are too much for the students
Freedom is less as compared to other colleges. 🥲
More class hours it feeled we are studying in schools

Course Curriculum Overview

I love eee and more excited since electrical engineering is the key of our new innovations like electrical vechicles, embedded sysetms, renewable enegy sytems etc. Syllabus is a vast one... Also the sem is ended within 3months feels more stressed????????.

We are electrical students so we often choose electric fields such as kseb substations, dams, energy systems for doing internships.Also many online internships are available.i done intership at a substation

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for campus placements during their 6,7,8th semesters. Infopark, vipro etc are some companies. About 40% students were placed. I want to be placed in a well company also i am wish to crack GATE exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

Vidya college provide many scholarships for the toppers and talented, skilled students. I am getting AICTE scholarship as a honour for my studies.Students are getting assistance in ther innovations from experienced facilities.

Campus Life

Vidyas tech is very famous through the events Agnichakra, ELECSPIRE etc. College library and department libraries were well structured and managed. Our college consists of many clubs and programs such as sports club, arts club, NSS, IEDC, IEEE, VSEC etc

Admission

Keam should be qualified Application form, free structure of course and its date will be informed from the administrative office. I do reserve my seat by paying some amount Admission process is nice overall.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
