Course Curriculum Overview

Enough lab time is given to students to know the taste of the real world. The college conducts small sessions for coding enthusiasts to develop their coding knowledge and increase the working capability as a team.

Placement Experience

From 6th semester students start to face campus placements drive. They will be given classes on how to take aptitude tests, how to attend an interview etc. The placement cell is very friendly and very helpful.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many scholarship programs are present. Applying at right time and making regular check ups is necessary. The total tuition fee is 75000 + 10000. A Total of 85000 in total is being taken as an annual fees.

Campus Life

Events like these are quite less in here. As the college is located in a residential area. There have been instances were the locals have informed the authorities and complained to the college management about the noise issues.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is quite old but maintained . No laundry service is available in the nearby area also. It is a huge inconveniance. Students can also use college bus by buying the bus pass from the reception desk.

Admission

The selection of the candidates was totally based upon KEAM ranking for merit seat selected students, and for management seat selected students 12th marks were considered. For nri students, it was mandatory to pass 12th with minimum pass percentage.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
