The Days that I Lived a lot and Lived young

Finally It's my opinion that this is one of the best colleges in Odisha to pursue Engineering in different Branches

This college is having a good study atmosphere along with best faculty members to cope with the students in every field. It is having an excellent library with all the type of textbooks and reference books. Good hostels are available for boys and girls and a huge field for sports.

The course curriculum was as per the BPUT. Being a Mechanical student I got utmost knowledge from this college. There was no issue in the curriculum only about more practical classes and workshops should be included by the university. Being a mechanical one must have equal access to software and core.

In our time getting internship was too hard. But thanks to our Principal and Dean Sir, They arranged an internship for all the students by calling companies to the campus. I got one certificate as an intern at TATA Service.

Placement in this college was good. Dean sir took a lot of pain to place each student in different colleges. However, in our time about 40 students from our branch got placed in core and software companies and I was one of them. For another branch like CSE and ECE Campus placement was the best at that time.

Orientation programme, Freshers Welcome, Annual Function, Annual Sports Day, Robo mania, Mechasso events, Seminars and workshops, Extracurricular activities like music, songs, debate, and dance competitions are also organized by the college with money rewards

the fee structure is flexible as compared to the facility provided by the college. As a member of the medium class family, I was able to pay the fees with installments. The only part to take care of the personal expenses, otherwise, a money of 1000 was sufficient for a student at our time.

The college had the provision to provide the scholarship to the students having 100 percent attendance and to the toppers of the respective branches. this was taken by a separate scholarship cell.

The campus was filled with greenery. It was active in the evening also due to the well-equipped library, gym, food court, and a music club. There were departmental seminars and events were organized by different departmental students. And one Cinema hall was under construction in our time.

Hostels were good, separate for boys and girls. An accommodation for 2000 students was there in our time. All hostels were well ventilated and good drinking water supply. Separate dining rooms for each hostel, 1st-year hostels were separated from seniors Hostels

Alumni network of this college was very strong. All the alumni-es are invited to various college events as guests.

There are 8 examinations after each semester in 4 years. All the examinations were conducted by the university in the college itself. There was three internals in each semester having full mark 30 each. Faculties were very particular to the internal exam and course curriculum.

Got admitted through OjEE merit basis. I have locked this college in my choice filling form and thanks god that I got a chance to study in this college in Mechanical branch. There were other procedures to be followed by a student marked by the University to got admitted in this college. Now a days it may vary.

Faculty members were too good and the retention of the faculties of this college is too good. I am still in contact with the faculties of this college which were in our time. Specially Saipad Sir and Siba Sir are more students friendly. As a whole, all the faculties are so cooperative and knowledgeable.
