Entrance Preview
I came to hear that this is a very nice institute for engineering study in Odisha. This institute is best for it's academic, research and so many other activities. There is in campus hostel facilities. So the student can get study facilities after the college hour. The faculties are very friendly.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is under BPUT. So the syllabus is quite broad and it covers all the topics required for engineering, GATE exams as well as for PSUs. The curriculum is well defined so that a student need not be confused. The course curriculum may be complete within 35 to 40 hours.
Internships Opportunities
Yes in GITA college they provide internship in RSP, NALCO, TATA steel, RSB metallics, CRW, NINL etc. for 2 months. The general stipend in some company they get is 5000-10000.
Placement Experience
So many companies come to GITA for a campus drive like Infosys, TechMahindra, Jindal Steel, Tata Steel, Tata power, Nav Bharat ventures, RSB transmission, VISA steel etc. The chances of getting a job in GITA is more than 90%.To get a job in campus drive college provides different types of training programmes.
College Events
So many events are celebrated in GITA college like Annual function, Tech Fest, cultural events, debate competition, Quiz competition, inter-college Cricket Tournament, and Football Tournament, Volleyball tournaments, and different sports activities like run, high jump, long jump etc...
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure of GITA is quite feasible. Even a student can pay his/her fees in installments. The students used to pay the hostel charges monthly. There is the facility of paying the due by online payment also. Nowadays Wallet services are also available.
Fees and Financial Aid
College provides the scholarship to meritorious students. Students with 100 percent attendance and highest CGPA get the scholarship from the college. There is a scholarship cell in our college
Campus Life
The college campus life is quite active and energetic. The boy to girl ratio is around 55:45. Regularly competitions were organized in the campus. Music club entertainment events were conducted. Students used to go for outings on Sundays. Extracurricular activities are conducted
Hostel Facilities
My hostel is one of the biggest hostels and my room is sharing. Two students occupy a room. The mess provides food for the three times a day. In the morning from 7 to 9 AM breakfast and 12 to 2 PM lunch and then 7 to 9 PM dinner. The food quality varies day by day. One can say the Monday as best and Wednesday as the worst. badminton court and the playing kits both indoor and outdoor. So the hostel facility is good.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is very good. The college has a separate alumni cell which connects each and every pass out students.
Exam Structure
In four years of studies, 8th-semester examinations have to appear. In each semester two nos of internal exams for 15 marks each. Then surprised test and quiz test are to be faced to improve the efficiency of the student which also helps to qualifies for a technical interview in campus drive.
Admission
I have applied for OJEE and got a rank . Then I have personally got data of different Engineering colleges and personally met their faculties and visited their Labs and also contacted the aluminaes through facebook and other social sites and then finally I found GITA is the best and then taken admission.
Faculty
The faculties of this institute are highly qualified. They are very friendly. We were able to clear our doubts even after the college hour. There is in campus staff quarters so that at any instant we can consult with them for academics as well as non-academic activities.
