Course Curriculum Overview
Since GITA is affiliated to BPUT, It follows the prescribed syllabus of BPUT. The course curriculum is quite broad and contains everything required for Engineering as well as for the competitive exams. Course beyond subjects are also undertaken as Add on optional.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, GITA does provide internship to the students.In the 3rd year I had gone for my internship to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited under college supervision. Though I had applied for 10000 of stipend but 5000 was sanctioned against my application.
Placement Experience
At GITA, since most of the students are career students they got placed without any difficulty in reputed companies. The placement cell of GITA is very supportive and a very good number of companies visit the college for an on-campus drive. MNCs like Infosys, Capgemini, MindTree, ManTruck are recruiting a good number of students with high packages.
College Events
A year at GITA is always eventful. The Annual function named "AKANKSHYA" is the most colourful cultural event among all other colleges. Students use to enjoy cultural nights, Star nights, Ramp shows in the function. Annual sports, Techfests are also organised. Students do participate in all the events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Paying the fee has always been a great concern for a students. But in GITA the fee structure is very feasible and fair. Students can pay the course and hostel fees in installments also. There is also the provision of paying through internet banking and mobile wallets.

Yes , GITA has a dedicated scholarship cell. It manages regarding all the scholarship of the students. Students are getting scholarship from govt. under Medhabruti, prerana etc. GITA also provides scholarship to meritorious students and students with 100 percent attendance.
Campus Life
A hosteler knows the true campus life at GITA. At Gita the campus life is fully enjoyabvle as a lot of activities use to happen everyday. the boy girl ratio is 55 to 45. Several clubs and parks are there for students to spend their time . Music club, Well equipped gym are present.

The college has a strong contact with its alumnies. Specially Sakti sir who is in charge of Alumni cell is in great contact with me. Special thanks to sangram sir for helping and guiding me till date.
Exam Structure
GITA follows the BPUT pattern of examination. We had 2 semesters in each year and in each semester there are two internal exams. Except that regular sessionals, Surprise tests and quiz tests are conducted for respective subjects. Internal exams are conducted after completion of respective modules.
Admission
Admission into B.Tech courses of the Biju Pattnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela, Orissa shall be based on OJEE exam by the University. . The University (BPUT) and the examination conducting authority Odisha Joint Entrance Examination shall adopt the eligibility criteria as specified by AICTE
Faculty
GITA is known for its academics and academics is composed of good faculties. All faculties of GITA are very supportive and student friendly. Most of the faculties have Phds from IITs. Their teaching and explaining skills are unique and very attractive.
