Memorable Four Years of my Life

College Managemnet is very supportive. It was managed by Vidya Bharati Education Trust.

I opted this college because of its excellent academic reputation. Their opportunities for personal growth and development not only academics but also to expand beyond classroom knowledge. Most of the professors have real world experience outside of academia. Campus selection and hostel facilities are very good at this college.

The course curriculum is designed by BPUT, Rourkela and is well maintained and well organized. This is the single centre for deciding the technical aspect of the students. Advanced courses are included keeping in mind the research and development aspects.

Yes. College provides internship in most of the PSU like SAIL, BSNL, Indian Railways etc. I did three of my internship from one PSE i.e BSNL and on e from a private company - GDCL.

Fee structure was quite feasible. We were allowed to pay in installment. Installment are such that we have to clear the total fees within one year in 5 number of installments. At our time the fee structure was 120000 per year. In which 60000 was the course fees.

i did not get any scholarship as i was from general category. But the college authority gave me a scholarship on merit basis from Jindal Group, because of which i really felt motivated.

Campus Life was simply awesome. We were offered a lush green campus with beautiful hostels. The campus was such diversified that we had students from five neighboring states of Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, Chattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh. The gender ration was 10:8

Hostel facilities and mess food was as per a middle class standard. It was not as high as the standard of the deemed universities, as only 50000 were there for the hostel and mess fees out of 120000 per year. We were given non veg three times a day on wed, fri and sun .

Alumni network of GITA is strongest among all the colleges in Odisha. Most of our campus recruitment come through our Alumni Network.

Exam Structure was quite as per the university pattern of Biju Pattnaik University of Technology, Rourkela as the college was affiliated to it. The exam pattern was quite strict and there was no room for cheating for anyone. It really helped and motivated us to study hard.

Admission process in this college is through OJEE. While filling up the option ,i have given CV RAMAN, SILICON, GITA as my choices.I have heard that these are the only good colleges in Bhubaneswar after Colllege of Engineering and TechnolOgy. After allotment i visited the campus to report to GITA.
