My memorable days

Yes, there are some bad remarks, but I don't want to write them in public platform. As my overall experience is good. and whatever my bad experience is that is present in most in all colleges. But the good thing is that we were able to share our dissatisfaction through the Proctorial System during our college days and currently we are also saying on the Annual Alumni Meet. Best thing is that l the management patiently listens to our demands.

Excellent study atmosphere, strict and magical evenings with specified study hours, energetic sporting moments and at the same time excellent academics and placements makes this institution with regard to engineering education. Further good and effective proctor system.

GITA has a course that includes BPUT as well as bridge course and beyond syllabus course. BPUT is recognized amongst the top technical universities in India because of its question pattern. The first year syllabus was same for all branches, in which we are inducted to the basics of all branches.From getting second year that means third semester onwards branch related subjects started.

Yes the college provide internship. I had availed two internships, one in my third year at Infosys and the other in my final year at TCS. In both the places I didn't get any stipend, but my overall experience as a trainee was excellent.

Normally we are used to having one week extended celebration of annual Sports Meet (Ahwaan). Annual Technical Fest (Innovation) and Cultural Meet (Akankshya).Then we celebrated annual departmental fest in which there used to be lots of competitive events like painting, debate, quiz, treasure hunt etc. Our Entertainer development cell used to conduct a week-long program of its own to slice innovative skills between the students.

At our time the course charged were 66000 per year and the hostel fees were 55000 per year. In fact, the fee structure has been designed as per the middle-class income people. So at the end, when a having boy gets a handsome job, all his investments in terms of course fees are returned to the student.

The institute used to conduct debate competitions regularly under the flagship Give Me the Mike. Coming to gender ratio I would like to say 10:8 (Male: Female). For the students like to use the gym there is a multi-gym and also a music club with all advanced musical instruments. In the tech fest Innovizon there are excellent scopes for robotics with inter-college competition, project fair under MSME, shipbuilding, Roadies etc. are the facilities the college provides

I got admitted through OJEE.There is a long process for selection.Because of the fame of the college. During that time three to four colleges were on demand. GITA, C V Raman, Krupajal and Silicon. In addition also GIET, Gunpur I a good. Anyways I was unwilling to go to GIET Gunupur because of its remote location, my parents were hesitant to send me out of the state and my rank though good, not good enough for Burla engg. college.

Believe me purely amazing. Here I would like to refer to the previous question of you that however easy or difficult the course curriculum is, if you find good teachers then everything will be easy. Now when you are saying good teachers, it doesn't mean the teacher's academic degrees but his teaching capacity. We were having a teacher feedback system where we used to rate our teachers' teaching capabilities without our identities were disclosed. On the base of it, we forever got the best of the teachers as per our understanding.
