This college is having very good academics as well as excellent laboratory facilities.The infrastructure is well and nicely maintained. The placement record is also very good. This college is NBA, NAAC accredited. GITA stood among 150 best colleges of the country as per NIRF ranking.

Course Curriculum Overview

GITA is affiliated to BPUT, Odisha whose course structure designed for Electronics & Communication branch is excellent meeting the industry requirements. The curriculum helps the students to go for higher studies through GATE. The syllabus is being covered by the faculty members elaborately in time.

I have got admitted in this institute through JEE (Main). I have qualified in entrance test and have gone through the e-counselling conducted by Odisha JEE. After filling the choices in the portal I have allotted with the branch ECE in GITA. Then after certificate verification I have got admitted.

Faculty

The faculty fraternity of GITA, Bhubaneswar is excellent in terms of Apart, imparting lessons to students, handling other issues of the institute like conducting seminars, workshops, conference etc and moreover research activities.They are very hard working, sincere and student friendly.

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .

The reality of GITA AUTONOMOUS college

There are 3 ways to join this college. 1.JEE councelling If you have the rank in between approximately 350000 to 1500000 , then you can join in this college without any problem. 2.OJEE councelling 3.You can get management seats if you passed in 12th examination with PCM subject selection . But you have to score more than a specific mark in the PCM subjects. You can apply to get admission in this college by Jossa councelling (jee) website and ojee councelling website. If you want to join by jossa councelling then you have to fill up the form by asked documents and 10000 councelling fees. Admission process is quite easy but there is also an another process in which you just have to contact the college admission department and you have to give 20000 and the college go through every process of the admission by themselves.
