Yes, every year many students get internship in collaboration with industries of rs 8000 and more to get more practical .

If You are from CSE & ECE and even if you are a average student then very easily you can get a CTC of 6 Lakh . I believe that In GITA if you are from Core Cse then you have most opportunity to get placed in Super Dream companies or Companies with CTC of 8+ .Highest Placement of CSE this year was from Amazon (28 CTC, 15 Fix& 13 variable). This is the best company you can target for. But there are many Tier 1 companies or SUPER DREAM COMPANIES where Selection Process is rigorous. The numbers given below are not exact

GITA offers several scholarships, fee waiver schemes, teaching and research assistance to meritorious and deserving students. Large number of students tremendously benefit from such schemes. In 2017 - 2018 nearly 650 students benefited from various schemes with a total of Rs. 2 crores distributed as scholarship. To encourage and support students of exemplary talent, several scholarship are instituted to recognize excellence in academic, sports and deserving candidates. The quantum of scholarship and the number of scholarships are subject to change from time to time.

There are internal and semester exam held in each semester. Apart from that students have to appear lab exams for each laboratory. External semester exams have 70 marks each. Internal exams have 30 marks. students have to get 50 marks to pass the exam.

Admission through central counselling conducted by Odisha Jee (www.ojee.nic.in) among the Rank Holders of the All India JeeMain-2018 Entrance Exam All the seats will be filled through e-counselling procedure conducted by Odisha Jee Counselling 2018 as per their notification (to be notified soon). There is also provision for direct admission on vacant seats after the closure of the e-counselling procedure for the Rank Holders of the All India JeeMain -2018. here are a lot of good faculty in VIT while choosing your faculty its better to ask for help from seniors There will definitely be more than 4 or 5 best faculty for each course if you can’t get them in the morning you can get them in the afternoon .some prefer to go with lenient ones.
