- Good campus life and you get everything in the college near to the main market of patiala and good facilities like near to main city like Chandigarh and can go to hill stations in Himachal
- Good people Max people are from good background of family
- Good boys to girls ratio so you can get a girlfriend too but if your luck is like me it can get even worst as the ratio of IIT
Dislikes
- Punjab quota reservation is there in the campus
- Declining placement because there are some seniors they told me placements are declining due to recession.
- Increasing seats in almost every branches
Course Curriculum Overview
It's just okk in first year because I am only in first year and I have just learnt c programming in first year beside I am in computer engineering branch here there is also some benefit of being here like in first year there are subjects from almost every branch hai students are from all the branches not just from one branch
Internships Opportunities
I don't have make any intenship till now so I don't know about it but according to seniors it is good so overall I don't know about internship because currently I am in first year and didn't get any internship opportunity from the college in first year but there are. Sone incoming mails from the college
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for the very 2nd year to get and join scholarship from the college Google apple Amazon come here regularly but I don't know the number of offers made and it's like 60-80% students get placed due to recession average package is around 10 lpa
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is like fees is increasing in every year and here scholarships are like there are some scholarships for special people which are from very poor family and there is too merit cum based scholarship and I got it at 95.3 percentile in jee mains and 86.2% in pcme 12th class marks and I was named in category third of merit cum based of fees reduced by half of the tution fees approximately 200000 in 2nd year
Campus Life
Campus life in thapar is great you get everything you need here and it's like a big campus too good class facilities with AC rooms and projector and there are even extracurricular activities and if your good in it you get opportunities and everything there are even society clubs and all you can get here a great campus life
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is good and all hostel are fully ac and you get options to get 2seater 4 seater or 3 seater AC aur non AC if you get AC room it will cost you high compared to non AC mess food is okay and changes regularly as per the basis there is sodexo facility in my hostel and my fees is like 52000 per semester for 2seater ac room
Admission
You got here admission by jee mains and 12th percentage of physics chemistry and maths I got admission in computer engineering branch here by getting 95.3 percentile in jee mains and rank was 53921outside Punjab category and it is even lower for students which are living in Punjab and it is like 96% in pcm for computer engineering branch
Faculty
Teachers are not that good in teaching but some are good but some are even worst they just come and read slides and this is even i hate the most teachers are highly qualified from IITs like PhD and masters
