My college review

College Management is very cooperative. They provide all facilities for student cause.

Came to know that here academic standard id very good. The department is having very good faculty. It has very good infrastructure such as updated laboratories, smart class rooms, Departmental Libraries etc.The department conducts very good live projects.

The Institute follows the curriculum of Biju Pattanaik Technical University (BPUT) Odisha. The course curriculum covers all almost all salient features of Civil Engineering.It also includes all practical aspects in the practical classes what a civil Engineer should know.

Yes. Our college provides Internship. In the final year the students take internship. College provides stipend to the good students those qualify for the same.

Placements are generally good. But in the first year it was not very encouraging. But we found in the subsequent years the placements are very good. Most construction companies choose students from the trainees of their companies. Other students have been engaged in the second year.

There are many curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular activities conducted by the students.I sports almost games such as volley, foot ball , Cricket, Hockey, Basket ball, Kabadi etc are played in the college campus. Also we conduct competitions among the students of different year students.

Fee structure is reasonable and normally approved by the university. Institution is very much flexible in collection of the fees. They give opportunity for instalment facility. They also consider cases of poor students who can not pay in time. Their rules are not very much stringent.

Institution Gives scholarships to the very meritorious students. They also facilitate loan facilities from different banks for the needy students.

The campus life is unforgettable till now. We had a lively time there. All sorts of enjoyment were provided for us apart from the library, and sports facility. We had Gym, Art Club, Theatre , hobbies club and what not. We had facilities for all sorts of choice for carrying out our hobbies.

We have good alumni network through out the globe. Presently, We have started a GITA Alumni club at Bangalore Which is functioning well.

I preferred govt Engineering colleges. When I could not get this among the private Engineering colleges, My first preference was GITA. Reason Already I have stated above. I came here through OJEE and I had given GIA as my preference. Hence I took admission here.

Our Department is having highly qualified and very good faculty members. We also have some faculty those are having practical experiences in the field. Some of the faculty members include the students in their own project works, where the students get practical exposure.
