GITA Bhubaneswar -: a dream of millions

The college management is very much students friendly.

The training department is in constant touch with different industries. The students of various departments apply for the internship through the college authority and are allowed to undergo internship many public as well as private sectors. The college also arranges internship to the deserved students.

The students of the college celebrate three annual events. i) AKANKSHA - a cultural extravagant, ii) AWAN - To showcase the student's athletic ability and iii) INNOVISION - for demonstrating the technical geniuses. Every department has been registered with professional technical societies to conduct technical events, workshops, and seminars.

Of course scholarship is provided to the deserving and needy students. Many of my friends availed scholarship offered by the college itself. The college also helps the students to avail bank loans for their studies.Many students also avail scholarship from the government through the college.

I enjoyed a great campus life in GITAM. There were subtancial number of girl students. There were no gender bias at any stage of our stay in the campus.There are sufficient no of labs in the college equipped with state of the art technology.There were frequent technical competitions, debate competition etc that really enriches the students knowledge and expertise.

There are sufficient number of wel ventilated hostel rooms for the outstation students.Since the hostels are inside the campus , it helps the students always connected to the campus. As long as the food is concerned , it is healthy and hygienic. There is also feed back system regarding the quality of food. The quality of food is always monitored by quality control squad.

There is a strong alumni network in GITA.Every year there is alumni meet in the college.The alumni are very frequently invited for seminar talk to share their feeling with junior students.

The exam structure is according to the format provided by BPUT. There are two internal test as well as a external Semester Exam.Besides this surprise and quiz tests are also conducted frequently by the teachers in their respective subjects.The students has to secure pass marks in both external and internal examination .

The admission was purely on the basis of marks obtained in the joint entrance examination conducted by the government of Odisha. After the entrance examination results were out, I had to go to a central counseling center organized by the government of Odisha. Then after a lot of consultation with my seniors, friends, I opted for GITAM, Bhubaneswar.

The faculty members of GITA, Bhubaneswar are considered to be most important pillars of the success story of GITA. All departments are enriched with brilliant and experienced faculty members.GITA is reputed across the eastern India due to expertise , diligent and versatility of its faculty members.
