Course Curriculum Overview

The main reason for men to select this course is obviously my interest in electronics and computers. And also the recession scenario going on around the world.I think there is no need for any improvement in the curriculum of the course.

Internships Opportunities

There are wonderful internship opportunities for the students with students getting upto rupees 1 lakh per month in internship which is something really great. The PPOs offered are also great with companies like Amazon and Microsoft coming to the campus.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements from 3rd semester.Companies visiting the campus include Amazon Microsoft JP morgan and many more top tier companies which is a boon for the students.Percentage of students getting placed is above 95%.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure varies from course to course but there are many scholarships given to the students on the basis of their cgpa and the percentile and obviously the percentage they scored in class 12th.many good employment opportunities are also available in the campus

Campus Life

My overall experice in the campus is great with many clubs and societies to join for the students to improve interpersonal communication skills and for overall development.The labs facilities are also very good with one of the best infrastructure in india

Hostel Facilities

There are Ac and no AC rooms both for the students with a wardrobe bed and chair in every room .The rooms are pretty comfortable.The quality of food served in thapar Is very good as compared to other colleges

Hostel Fee: INR 140000 per year

Admission

The eligibility criteria for BE include that the candidate should be passed out from class 12th from PCM. There is a 50%reservation quota for Punjab students.People can also apply on the basis of the JEE main percentile

Faculty

The faculty is extremely good with many of the teacher graduated from top IITs and the faculty to student ratio is also very good.faculty are always ready to help and solve the doubts regarding any problem.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. inside campus walls

i applied for lnmiit college jaipur . there i was expecting computer branch but did got electronics branch so i didnt went there.here in thapar it was based on jee mains percentile for addmission. computer branches were available till 89 percentile for punjab students and till 94 percentile for outside punjab students. so i had percentile of 95 so i easily got computer branch over here....Read More
