Course Curriculum Overview

there are mainly bachelors program in the college that is affilated by the university of the delhi so the course curriculam is quite good there , but when things comes at the point of the optionals subjects some department lack to provide the support

Fees and Financial Aid

the fees is very low as you know you are in delhi university there is no fees the fess for a year is approx 15000 rupees and some 1500-2000 rupees for the exam fees that is quite low as compared to the other collges

Campus Life

the clubs are active mostly for nukkad natak , dance singing and all of that not for the sciece geek because there is no environment for the science students mmost students are froms arts and commerce backgrounsds

Admission

addmisiion is through the CET exam you have to clear it with the good cutt off mark for some of the program is cutt offs are too high but in the college they overratted while some course like electronis may not have that hgh cutt off

there are lot of faculty member in the college , from staff to teaching staff they are polite and humble leave some arrogant persons there is enough harmony in the college , the disciple in the college is quite good no entry without admit card

Placement Experience:

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum consists of relatable topics and interesting ones as well this is what quite influenced me to take this course. We have labs which help us learn how to prepare various organic compounds which are used in many day to day products . The course also has a 4th year research program. There should be more equipments in lab for the research. The frequency is good for exams being conducted and there level is also quite good

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Shivaji College Experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Well you need to very lucky to have been a part of Sri Venkateswara college.Only think we missed back then was auditorium and hostels which am sure are there now.A very positive and caring vibe you got.Reddy Sir our principal in last few months invited me to share tirupati prasad he got that was the level and depth of community interaction and love.

Remarks:

Canteen of the college is not much good. But it is good for a student. We can make our career in different field from this college. It has provided us playing material so student cam play there favourite game
